I worked for a leader in the real estate development, construction, and property management industry in the Midwest and across 15 states, for almost 20 years. I was the administrative assistant to the director of property management for the first year, and spent the last 19 as an executive assistant to the President of Residential Construction. In this capacity, I also supported multiple project managers in contract management and compliance with Davis-Bacon and Section 3, as well as monitored job costs for discrepancies and change orders. In this role, I was an active liaison with owners, developers, non-profit partners, and property management in regards to funding paperwork to get the construction loan to closing, then scheduling subsequent draw meetings and preparing paperwork for signature, issuing warranty manuals, and final turnover. And as a natural-born assistant, I have always excelled at being a woman who knows whats going on, behind the person in charge. It is a talent that has come so naturally, I can think outside the box and prepare for what an executive needs before he/she asks. I am also very creative, in addition to having impeccable grammar, so I can write anything from funny e-mails to professional correspondence. All while maintaining calendar appointments, tracking expenses, creating spreadsheets or reports, and addressing anything in general an executive might need to be successful. But I left the corporate world to serve my own clients in both household organization and cleaning, another area of my expertise, as well as administrative needs.
