Knoxville Lactation Clinic(KLC) provides breastfeeding support by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants for pregnant & breastfeeding moms with an emphasis on billing insurance so that families are not financially burdened by getting help to feed their babies. KLC is passionate about helping lactating women navigate the challenges of returning to work. We are available for lactation room evaluations and onsite support groups to help increase employee retention. Management sensitivity training for both groups and for individual departments is available to help diffuse potentially uncomfortable situations in the workplace. In September 2019, KLC opened the first human milk depot in the Knoxville area. In both a support group setting and individual drop off times, approved donors can bring their pumped frozen breast milk to the depot. KLC will then package and ship the milk to Austin,TX where it will be tested and pasteurized, before being sent to hospitals for NICU babies. Lisa Paul IBCLC owns KLC and has been involved in the childbirth and lactation community in Knoxville for over 15 years. She is the wife of a wounded warrior, mom to two great adult kids, and became a grandma for the first time in May 2019.
