Diversified Energy Specialists is a renewable energy consulting and environmental markets trading corporation based in Wilmington, Massachusetts. We trade in many over-the-counter environmental markets across the country. In Massachusetts, we are a DOER approved aggregation of renewable thermal technologies, assisting biofuel distributors in reducing their carbon emissions through the purchase and sale of biofuels. The Massachusetts Alternative Portfolio Standard, implemented by the Massachusetts Department of Energy, provides energy credits as incentive to reduce carbon emissions. We handle the application, reporting, and monetization of energy credits in the OTC environmental markets, while also assisting our clients throughout the blending process. We purchase carbon offsets from forestry projects around the country for corporations in all sectors. We consult on a range of environmental issues pertaining to carbon emission reduction across the nation. We provide insight and strategic growth support for organizations that promote the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, including the purchasing of carbon offsets. Recent work has involved the design of portfolio standards, the evaluation of government carbon reduction programs, and the design of a pathway for states to meet their 2030 and 2050 greenhouse gas reduction goals.
