The “Baltazar Zaprešić” University of Applied Sciences, founded 2001, is today the biggest private institution of higher education in Croatia with over 7.000 graduated students. The University was awarded with the ISO 9001 certification for its high quality educational work in the field of business and management. All our study programmes are original and unique, created by top experts and scientists in the field of economy and approved by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and the Agency for Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Croatia. The “Baltazar” University of Applied Sciences was the first university to introduce unique studies of Cultural Management and Communications Management in Croatia. The specificity of the College are scientifically-based and practice-oriented studies, adapted to meet the requirements of the labor market and employers in the fields of economy, finances, communications and culture. Baltazar offers four bachelor and four master level studies in the fields of economics, finance, communications, cultural management, ICT, public and project management. Teachers working at the “Baltazar” University of Applied Sciences are top experts and scientists in their field, and there are around 30 doctors of science with the highest teaching and academic-teaching ranks; from college professors to academics. Due to high quality educational programmes and the Bologna Process implementation the “Baltazar” University of Applied Sciences has successfully collaborated with more than 20 higher education institutions in the world, with the Ruđer Bošković Institute and IPMA, International Project Management Association. By introducing iPads in teaching the “Baltazar” University of Applied Sciences became an official Apple lighthouse school. The University will continue with the implementation of modern IT infrastructure, with the goal of improving the quality of offline and the development of online studying.
