RITE Step for Students is a 501c3 non-profit company dedicated to providing educational training, teaching materials, and student take-away tools for students and teachers, on Emotional, Social, and Racial Intelligence in grades K-12. RITE’s vision with the help of funding, is to leave a lasting footprint for students to lead a life driven by LOVE, not by Fear using student take-away tools, and teacher posters. RITE Step will provide to every student and teacher, a positive ‘cognitive imprint tool’ that they can use to ‘coach themselves’ personally and manage their own emotions to make better decisions, as well as engagement with others fairly and bias-free. RITE Step teaches a 3-hour teacher development program that helps them simplify the SEL (social emotional learning) in the classroom. Programs are taught for Elementary K-5 Middle school 6-8 High school 9-12 RITE Step helps students understand their Own Emotions by learning to: - Control their Emotions to Make Better Decisions - Understand Integrity Ownership – ‘Do the RIGHT Thing Today’ [Banner] - Create a Bias-Free Culture & Environment in Schools and Community - Treat Yourself and Others Fairly - Act without Prejudgment, Learning to Observe - Learn to take RITE Steps towards the Top of the Ladder
