Our Work: We provide direct services to families and help build the capacity of the target communities of Columbia Heights and Shaw, as well as, other neighborhoods across Washington, D.C. Our direct services are bilingual (Spanish/English) and include: Family Services: Connecting families living in Wards 1 and 2 to the resources and support systems they need to preserve and maintain stable and healthy families Violence Prevention: Reducing youth violence and violent crime by engaging high-risk youth (ages 14-24) and their families. Work Force Development: Empowering returning citizens, and those who are currently unemployed or underemployed through groundbreaking training. Training Institute: Pioneering strategies to provide deep family engagement and leading change in how direct service agencies approach their constituents. Moreover, we also work to build the capacity of our nonprofit and agency partner organizations through: •Technical Assistance •Training •Collaborations and Partnerships
