ENRRA is in charge of all regulatory and controlling works related to nuclear activities for the peaceful use of atomic energy and ionizing radiation in a way that guarantees human, property, and environment safety against the hazard of exposure to ionizing radiations. As per the Egyptian Law on Regulation of Nuclear and Radiological Activities No. (7), its amendments, and the Executive Regulations of the law, ENRRA; Has public judicial personality, independent budget and reports to the Prime Minister ENRRA is firmly and fully committed to; - Ensuring safety, security, and safeguards. - Planning, Preparedness and response to nuclear and radiation emergencies, in coordination with other concerned national and international entities. - Issuing the regulations that determine the amount of insurance or financial guarantees in case of nuclear accidents. - Transparency and building public trust through involving public, raising their awareness and providing them with all information needed.
