UNAM is the largest university in the Americas and is recognized worldwide. Founded in March 2005, UNAM Los Angeles fosters educational, scientific, and cultural exchange between Mexico and the US. UNAM LA establishes links and partnerships with universities and institutions in California to bring educational opportunities to the community. In 2015, UNAM opened a satellite office within the CSUN campus as part of a cooperation agreement between both universities.
