UMB Stockbrokers Limited (UMBS) a Licensed Dealing Member of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), was established in 1975 and has been a pioneer dealer on the GSE. We are licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a Broker-Dealer. The current line of business includes the provision of brokerage services, equity research, issuing house services, sponsoring of stock exchange listings, Equity Portfolio Management and Share Valuation. Strategic Debt Solutions Limited (SDSL) was originally set up as Merban Asset Recovery Trust as an initiative for the recovery of specified non-performing assets (NPAs) of Universal Merchant Bank (UMB). SDSL had engaged in all activities attendant to the management and recovery of NPLs transferred from Universal Merchant Bank (UMB). The core products and services of SDSL are debt recovery and management of distressed accounts that require turnaround situations.
