Alongside a career in costume for the stage & screen that has spanned almost 20 years, I am now embarking on a new phase of a journey that brings the knowledge & skills gained from my career in costume into creating & running a unique costume studio that caters for private & commercial clients. Having already established Imaginarium Costumes in 2016- a creative costume studio, pop up & online shop specialising in quality festival fashion, dance & party wear, I am now moving forward into a different aesthetic. Aspiring to design & create pieces closer to my roots in theatrical costume design & inspired by my passion for historical & contemporary couture without abandoning the sense of fun, playfulness & self expression that festival costuming evokes. I aim to design & create beautiful, exquisitely made garments that blend the more fantastical & elaborate elements of costume with wearable fashion, with a focus on flawless fit, quality materials, excellent cut, beautiful embellishments & detailed hand finishing. Imaginarium offers a custom design & making service allowing the client & myself the opportunity to collaborate to create the made to measure costume envisioned. Alongside this service I also plan to launch a capsule collection of unique one off & made to order designs.
