Piccoli Dance Theatre (PDT) is a school of dance located in Lincoln Nebraska that teaches ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, musical theater, hip hop, and more. We offer classes from ages 3 to adult. PDT staff are trained across professional curriculum to provide consistent, outstanding dance education. PDT, under the guidance of our studio director, Courtney Piccoli, teaches Imperial Classical Ballet, a vetted, exam based ballet curriculum to ensure safe, consistent, and quality education in this field. While all teachers come from a dance background, many of our teachers have degree's in dance performance or pedagogy and/or come from a professional dance and musical theater background. We invest in our teachers and take great pride in the work they do. Our educational approach is based in respect, hard work, and high achievement. We seek to do this by building up strong positive dancers and people. Aside from our traditional technical classes, PDT has an outstanding competitive company, a YAGP ballet team, and a pre-professional program. Another differentiator with PDT is our recitals. We consider these performances in which students should be proud to participate, and audiences should enjoy. Each recital is 'Ballet Fusion' recital written with original storylines, that interweave between each dance, filled with professional lighting, sound, and imagery. Our recitals are performance worth watching.
