The Emergency Planning College (EPC) is the national centre for UK Resilience learning and development. Our mission is to enhance UK Resilience. We do this by building resilience capabilities in individuals, teams and organisations. As the government’s trusted provider of training, exercising and advisory services in all resilience disciplines, we also support the development of UK national doctrine, guidance and standards through the identification and promotion of good practice, collaboration and continuous improvement. Serco run the college for and on behalf of the Cabinet Office Civil Contingencies Secretariat (CCS), the national authority for resilience and civil protection. EPC’s specialist areas of expertise and capability include: • Multi-agency emergency management; • Incident and crisis management; • Organisational resilience; • Business continuity management; • Cyber resilience; • Counter-terrorism planning and exercising.
