Stone & Lime Historic Restoration Services
www.stoneandlime.comRestoration contractor Stone & Lime has a long track record of working on historic masonry projects spanning from Massachusetts to Texas. Patricia Pelchat and Kenneth Uracius started Stone & Lime Historic Restoration Services in 2004 to supply difficult-to-procure masonry restoration products to the historic preservation community. As the use of, and demand for, these products increased within the restoration market, Stone & Lime Historic Restoration Services began providing labor services to help execute restoration projects. In 2016, Christopher Dabek joined the Stone & Lime team, bringing his knowledge of masonry restoration and building envelope restoration. In recent years Stone & Lime has been taking the role of general contractor, managing all trades of the projects and working directly with owners such as the National Park Service, the GSA, Harvard University, Bentley University, and Wellesley College among others. A few of the most notable projects are the JW McCormack Federal Courthouse in Boston, the restoration of Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas National Park, and the stabilization of Plymouth Rock. As Stone & Lime Historic Restoration Services has undertaken more challenging projects as well as managing every aspect of them in recent years, it has consequently expanded its management team with seasoned historic preservation experts to increase its reach and capabilities. This has allowed Stone and Lime to pursuit larger more complex jobs, as well as having the experience and talent to manage subcontractors. For more information, visit www.stoneandlime.com/aboutus.
