The THA is the peak industry body for hemp in Tasmania. The association offers educational, agronomic support and networking services to farmers wishing to diversify their crop rotation, where hemp is viable. The THA is championing the growth market of hemp production in Australia by creating awareness; leveraging Tasmania’s provenance; creating access to information; driving political change and steering agriculture into a sustainable pathway for future farmers. The THA agenda is food, fibre and therapeutics. A wealth of knowledge is held by the board across the hemp supply chain, through first-hand industry experience and a collection of reports, studies and convention summaries.
