"nēbetjā" is an international placemaking team consulting, researching and educating at the intersection of the following domains: - Urban planning, design and placemaking - Environmental geography - Design philosophy and concepts - Community empowerment - Creative economy and creative industries management - Business models - Strategic design and management, particularly in beyond-profit settings "nēbetjā" puts the human being, community, and context-specificity central to dealing with problems in both cities and organizations (as spaces, places and environments). We are deeply attached to the practice of respectful design and balanced leadership. We spend most of our time : - Consulting and doing research; - Detecting problems and coming up with solutions for them; - Writing down and implementing research-based concepts, strategies, development programmes and any other plans; - Helping change happen; - Facilitating workshops; - Speaking in front of various audiences, teaching, lecturing, and (hopefully) inspiring.
