Turkey's first private and second largest flat steel producer, Borçelik, was founded in 1990 and commenced production in 1994. Borusan Holding and ArcelorMittal, co-manage the company. Borçelik's range of products consists of commercial, drawing, deep-drawing and extra-deep drawing steel, as well as bake-hardening, structural grades, rephosphorized, HSLA, enameling and dual phase. Borçelik materials are produced in the context of a dynamic organization with the most advanced technology available, while the company's superior engineering and know-how capacities are utilized to provide the best possible logistical service to her customers. Borçelik’s annual production capacity of 1,5 million tons consists of 600 ktons of cold rolled annealed and 900 ktons of hot-dip galvanized steel.
