COVID-19 has given us the opportunity to re-think how our guests can experience nature, adventure, and hospitality while remaining safe and socially distanced. We have rearranged the inn with your safety in mind and created roomy and private living spaces where you can relax and unwind or even work or study, with options for guests to reserve an entire wing of the main inn or one of our standalone cottages. We nourish you in ways beyond our inviting physical spaces. We believe adventure and serenity can peacefully coexist, and our lovely grounds, extensive trails, and welcoming rooms offer the perfect balance. We prepare delicious and unique breakfasts, as well as gourmet family-style dinners by request, made with love and wholesome local ingredients. Mountain-biking enthusiasts, as well as snowshoers and hikers, will love the Featherbed Connector that links our property to the many miles of trails maintained by the Mad River Riders. Step outside the door, and you’ll find firepits for cozy evenings and s’mores. In the summer, you can take a refreshing dip in our pond, wander across the road to swim in the Mad River, or settle into our gazebo for reading and relaxing. We are located in the heart of the Mad River Valley, a place where mountain and meadow and river and forest meet. Each season presents new discoveries.
