LifeMatters Counseling and Health Center provides client-centered mental health therapy and counseling for all age groups. Because we believe that the client is the expert, we take the role of creating a safe and secure environment in which each client can teach us about him/her/themselves in their current context as it relates to their presenting situation. Our goal is then to combine modern research, our experience and training, and each client's teachings to improve quality of life for him/her/them and any others involved; that is, we seek to be incredibly human (not super-human) to allow our clients the same opportunity to better themselves. This is our position regardless of stigma, stereotype, or social status.
