WestTrans is a partnership of the six West London boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow. Joined by key stakeholders in West London, we work with Transport for London to identify, develop and implement sustainable transport projects to the benefit of the subregion. We also contributes advice to West London leaders relating to the development of appropriate strategies for West London, and provide a platform to lobby regional and national government in a cohesive manner. Key projects include: - work with college and university students to create healthier campuses across West London. This work includes crowd-funding over £86,000 for provision of a Santander cycling scheme in Uxbridge, serving Brunel University, Hillingdon Hospital and Uxbridge Town Centre. - an electric bike trial with boroughs and local businesses, providing e-bikes on loan for short periods to employees who usually use a vehicle. - strategic bus corridors: identifying key corridors for improvement in orbital transport, including between Heathrow and Harrow, and Wembley and Ealing.
