The company is renowned for high-quality performances, imaginative programming and its outstanding track record for discovering and nurturing exceptional young singers. In 2015 Classical Opera launched its ground-breaking MOZART 250 project, described by The Observer as “among the most audacious classical music scheduling ever”. This ambitious 27-year project follows Mozart’s life and career chronologically exactly 250 years later, with performances of all his major works alongside those of his contemporaries who helped shape the musical scene in 18th century Europe.
