Delta Eta Boulé Foundation
www.debfoundation.orgDelta Eta Boule Foundation helps young Black males become leaders in their professions and communities through its leadership development program, which provides academic scholarships, individual mentorship, summer internships and professional development coaching. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Delta Eta Boule, the Denver chapter of Sigma Pi Phi fraternity — America’s oldest black Greek-lettered organization for successful Black male professionals. The Foundation awarded its first scholarship in 1998. Since then, it has awarded more than $770,000 in scholarships to more than 100 Denver area high school graduates attending colleges and universities throughout the country. There are currently 39 undergraduate students and 4 graduate students in its leadership development program. All students are graduates of metro Denver high schools who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve academic success, and demonstrate strong character and leadership. Delta Eta Boulé Foundation ultimately levels the playing field for these students, who often lack the financial resources, emotional support, and social capital that are essential to college and early career success. It gives them access to a network of accomplished Black professionals who support their growth and development throughout their college experience and well into their professional careers.
