MLG Food Ingredients was formed in 1979 to provide sales representation to the North American Food Processing Industries. We currently have a 23,000 square foot plant and warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario which processes liquid sweeteners of various types. Our professional sales organization of 12 is experienced in marketing specialty ingredients to the Bread/Roll/Cake, Biscuit & Cracker, and Snack Food, Food Processing, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic industries. There is warehousing available in Vancouver, and additional sites in Montreal and South East USA are being considered. We have been successful in introducing several new ingredients, in particular, to the Baking and Snack Food areas. Our company is an active member of the following Trade Associations: • Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology • American Society of Baking • Institute of Food Technology Our company has always been very active in promoting new and exotic specialty food ingredients to the food processing companies in North America. At this facility, the following items are processed and distributed: Molasses, Malt Extract Caramel Color, Invert Sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Glucose, Golden Corn Syrup, Agave Syrup, Dried Molasses, Dried Honey & other Dried Sweeteners, Malt Powder, Maltodextrins, Fructose, Dextrose, Natural Colors, Cocoa Powder, Cocoa Butter, Defatted Cocoa Powder, Banana & other Fruit Purees, Organic & Non-GMO Ingredients, Release Lubricants, Food Colors, Guar Gum, and Invertase. BRC approval was achieved in November 2010 enabling MLG Food Ingredients to increase its marketing strength and presence within the North American and export markets.
