PhotonDelta is an industry accelerator for the integrated photonics industry. We build and grow an ecosystem in Europe, which covers a network of companies and knowledge institutes that intensively co-operate for the last 25 years in the research, design, development and manufacturing of integrated photonics technologies and components. Such a collective and long-standing effort, with a main accent in the Netherlands, has led us to unique competences and assets in the domain of Photonics Integrated Circuits (PICs) and PICs-powered packaged opto-electronics modules. The network combines the agility and speed of small companies with the stability and trustworthiness of larger ones. We are open to co-creation, open-innovation and early engagement with all the market leading or high-potential future players up in the value chain. Why? We believe our technology of integrated photonics can offer a solution for the societal and technological challenges the world faces today. We see many product- and service companies around the world that are strongly driven by and in need for technologies enabling radically cheaper, faster, lighter, greener, more robust and reliable solutions. We think integrated photonics is the key enabling technology and open up possibilities for new applications in several domains. In short: we see a potential for a large number of breakthrough innovations that can overcome current technological challenges. By working together in a network, we innovate, reduce time-to-market and we have the economy of scale.
