To promote and provide: ○  a community of professional and non-professional  (artists and hobbyists) ○ Individual expression through creativity and technical mastery ○ The preservation of textile traditions and techniques ○ Innovation that results from technical mastery ○ Growth and knowledge of fiber art outside of the profession ○ Opportunity to create and exhibit and sell fiber art. ○ an environment that unites functional fiber art with non-traditional expression and innovation
