The Earth Home is an Architecture and Design firm co-founded by Adreesh Chakraborty and Eena Basur to create, through its practice, a thriving future with the planet. It looks at creating with the Earth, through question, choice and possibility, while constantly informing itself through research and enquiry. The Earth Home Architecture, has been engaged with creating happy, lively spaces, integrating the built environment with the surroundings while improving comfort and building performance by working with the movement of the sun, wind directions and material properties. Adding trees and greenery to our landscapes and indoors tops as one of our favourite design tools. The Earth Home Interior Design is actively engaged in creating elegance of living - constantly redefining boundaries and relationships through spatial design, adding comfort and ease for bodies, curating materials by sensory perception, creating lighting environments working with the circadian rhythm, and adding elements of beauty and life through, art, accessories and natural fabrics. The Earth Home Furniture Design looks at reviving and redefining the art of furniture hand-crafting in the age of machining, working with artisans in solid and reclaimed woods, using polishes and surface treatments available in nature. Contemporary design meets traditional crafting techniques to create unique pieces developed through a collaborative process with the artisans and the users.
