Jordan Investment Board (JIB) is a governmental organization which represents the key entity in Jordan's investment efforts. Established as a result of Jordan government’s realization of the significance of increasing foreign direct investment to Jordan and reinforcing local investments, JIB is committed to working with the private sector to promote Jordan for its unique business environment and diverse investment potential. JIB presents services for investment projects, and offers facilitation of relevant procedures for foreign and local investors through building linkages amongst provinces, private & public organizations and investors, supervising the enactment of the government's legislations in that regard, and opening all economic sectors to foreign direct investments inflicting equal treatment to local and foreign investors.
