IEP began in 1983 as a grassroots holistic and integrative medicine clinic and was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 1993. The mission of IEP is to promote the vitality of our communities by making compassionate and high-quality traditional Chinese medicine and other healing arts available to everyone seeking their benefits. IEP’s overriding goal is to address inequities in access to health care services while supporting and advancing community-based medicine. We offer many traditional services and will be expanding them further in 2015. In 2014 we gather a new Board that is working hard to make IEP for the ever changing world of health needs. We focus on providing affordable, accessible complementary treatment and care to the community, with a special emphasis on those who are underserved or most in need.
