Memphis Roller Derby is a skater-owned and operated roller derby community focused on empowering its members through acceptance and expansion of the limits of their bodies, minds, and interpersonal skills. MRD seeks to be inclusive of all body types, genders, sexualities, and socioeconomic statuses while pursuing hard work through collaboration on and off the track. We currently comprise of more than 30 skaters and roughly 20 volunteers, coaches, referees, and support staff. We take pride in our commitment to the community, frequently supporting other Memphis non-profit organizations with donations and fundraisers.
