RESCUE RESTON
www.rescuereston.orgThe primary work of Rescue Reston is to establish a community-based strategy, plan and activities to promote grass-root efforts that oppose redevelopment efforts by speculative owners of large tracts of land in Reston which has the land use designation of recreational open space. We defend the green spaces at the 164-acre North Course, Hidden Creek Country Club, and at the South Course, Reston National Golf Course, a 166-acre Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program Golf Course on the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Both courses are part of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay watersheds. Rescue Reston is a 501(c)(4) organization.
