Through school and community based partnerships, clients are offered individuals services by school certified professionals that foster independence, confidence and overall success. Programs and services include: Internships World of Work Tours Employment Classes Vocational Assessments Job and College Coaching Travel Management Strategies Benefits Advisement Linkages to Adult Service Providers—ie. Acces-VR, OPWDD (Office for People with Developmental Disabilities), OMH (Office of Mental Health), and CB (Commission for the Blind) What Separates Us? • We are a for-profit company which allows us to fully allocate our resources to high quality and innovative services. • We are analytically driven—our data provides us with results that can be measured and conclusions can be drawn to deliver exceptional results. • We hire certified educational professionals—certified in special education or guidance. • We are community based—provide services throughout Long Island. • We work directly with over 40 school districts. • We work with Access-VR and through this work, provide an array of career services for individuals with varying learning abilities. Accomplishments: 1. CEO has grown from 2005 serving 2 districts to serving over 40 districts in 2017 and from 2 staff to over 40 in 2017. 2. ACCES-VR contract has grown from serving 8 clients in 2008 to over 140 in 2016. • CEO has been rated 30% higher than the region and State in regard to their Acces-VS Services by NYSED • A 98% satisfactory rating from ACCES-VR counselors • 50% faster than the region and state average from amount of time from commencement of services to job placement • 56.25% successful vocational rehabilitation rate, higher than the region and state average. 3. CEO has developed a curriculum, “Career Services for People In & Beyond Special Education” that addresses the career needs of the people we serve. 4. CEO has a curriculum tracking system called CEOTrackit which enables districts to pin point where their students are in the CEO curriculum at any point in the year. CEOTrackit provides data on how the students are performing within the CEO curriculum. It provides individual student GPA’s as well as overall district GPA’s. 5. From 2014-2016, CEO has placed 53 individuals. 6. CEO has placed over 65 graduating seniors between 2013-2016. 7. CEO has 28-30 active internship sites operating on a weekly basis. 8. CEO Works launched the Shoreham-Wading River School-to-Community Program in March 2017. 9. CEO Works created Long Island Growth Career Days in 2 school districts. 10. CEO Works was integral in achieving a business presence at the 2nd Annual Shoreham-Wading River STEM Symposium in May 2017.
