Smom is a subsidiary of Financière SNOP Dunois (FSD) group. It collaborates with European OEMs and develops stamping dies for the automotive industry. Its expertise consists in Body-in-White, seats and mechanism parts. Smom has extensive knowledge in steel and aluminum, especially for new generation very high tensile steels. 580 employees work in the four Smom plants that are located in France, the Czech Republic, China and Morocco. The privately owned Groupe FSD employs over 9,000 colleagues in fourteen countries at 40 manufacturing sites and five technical centers. Groupe FSD offers our customers a broad product portfolio, supplying body-structure stampings, roll-formed parts and assemblies for cars and commercial vehicles, as well as press dies and automatic presses.
