Phakamani Young Minds Academy is a non profit organization formed in 2014 providing academic support to school learners from their earliest grade of school up to their final years of secondary school career. We focus on after school tutoring that enhance giving extra lessons, homework supervision, exam preparations and learning in a safe environment by reinforcing work done by educators in classrooms. And we further support learners who are not supported at home with their academic school work. PYMA makes sure that all our beneficiaries submit completed homework at school like all other students. We also provide support to matriculants to access post-school opportunities (access to tertiary education, learnerships and employment) and encourage them to return and help others do the same.
