Cincinnati Commandos
www.cincinnaticommandos.comFounded in 2009, bringing back professional indoor football to the Cincinnati area. We were the 2010 CIFL Champions finishing 11-1 in our first year, by rallying around University of Cincinnati standouts, Quarterback Ben Mauk, Wide Receiver Dominick Goodman and Defensive Tackle Terrell Byrd. We quickly became the talk of the town by being the first professional football team in Cincinnati to win a championship. In the 2011 season, we repeated our championship going 12-0. One of our many team goals, is to establish partnerships between our Championship football team and our communities. We are reaching out to local communities to support our team through fundraisers and community involvement. This is one of the many things we need to have, in order to keep our team successful in the community and promoting these young athletes on to a higher level of football. We have built this team from the talented pool of local college and high school football players in the tri-state area. By using Cincinnati players mixing with local traditions, it has quickly become successful in our first and second seasons. We have started playing to achieve our goal of 3 repeating our Championships at the Cincinnati Gardens. We appreciate all community support and look forward to competing for another 2012 professional indoor football Championship.
