Pilot Training Materials Rocketry Suborbital Spaceplane R&D Space is only 100 km from Canada ! The first full decade of commercial spaceflight is underway. Increased suborbital spaceflights will allow private and government-sponsored researchers more access to space at lower costs for conducting research in areas such as solar physics, life sciences, microgravity physics, and atmospheric science. Suborbital flights provide 3-4 minutes of microgravity for research and testing with simple payload recovery upon return. Suborbital spaceflight vehicles will provide new career opportunities for aerospace professionals and greater access for the public to enjoy the thrill of spaceflight. In support of this new and growing industry we have developed ground school training products to help prepare air pilots for the transition to spaceflight.
