At Make work meaningful, our passion for people and belief that workplaces can be fun and inspiring means we are eager to help others. We know not everyone can have the perfect job – the one that means they really love what they do and the impact that they have. We’re not in the business of telling everyone there’s a magical rainbow if they follow their dreams. But we do think that we can do a whole lot better than a world where only 15% of people are engaged in their work. The theory is out there – from Dan Pink to Amy Edmonson to Richard Layard – the view from economists, psychologists, business leaders largely correlate around a few key themes. Having spent the last 10+ years as people leaders, we have researched, developed, tried and tested hundreds of different, practical ideas for how you turn that theory into practice. And because we have seen the positive impact engaging workplaces can have, we want to share it and help others make practical changes to make work more meaningful in their companies.
