Since 1981, except for the period between 1987 and 1990 when I acted as assistant general counsel to Runnymede Development Corporation, a real property developer in the Greater Toronto Area, I carried on my law practice as a sole practitioner. My public practice is focused to serve the needs of my client’s interests in court and out. These needs have dealt with a variety of matters, including collections, employment matters, breach of contract, professional liability, bankruptcy, fraud and quasi fraud, commercial crime, injunctions to preserve assets and documentary evidence, intellectual property protection, trade marks, advertising, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, corporate oppression remedies, winding up applications, real and personal property rights, mortgage remedies, consumer protection matters, repair and storage lien matters, personal injury claims, business organizations, franchises, unfair business practices, construction deficiencies, construction lien claims, animal breeding rights, defamation, regulatory offences, defence in criminal matters and mediation. I practiced in Toronto until 2002 when I relocated my practice to Burlington.
