The Documentatiegroep '40-'45 is a Dutch association for people who are interested in World War II. It was originally founded in 1963 to connect collectors of military objects, documentation and books and to promote interest in the events of World War II by the public. Members of the Documentatiegroep '40-'45 are researchers, historians or collectors and publish their findings in our monthly journal called Terugblik '40-'45 (in Dutch). Furthermore we assist in research, assist next of kin in the quest for information about a dear one lost during the 2nd World War and try to to ensure that oral, written and illustrated history of WW2 is made available. The Documentation Group's mission is to make sure that we do not forget!
