Yorkshire Collaborative Academy Trust (YCAT) is a growing multi-academy trust dedicated to working with primary schools. We were formed in 2015 by three primary schools that had a long track record of successfully working together in partnership. Two further schools have joined us in the 2016/17 academic year. YCAT is built on shared core values and a passionate belief in collaborative approaches to learning. Members for our multi-academy trust were recruited from our local region and perform the vital role of holding our trust to account. At the heart of YCAT are its Trustees who have a wide range of experience from the education and business sector. Trustees are the custodians of the vision YCAT shares with its family of schools and strategically plan school improvement across our schools. “We are building a partnership of schools who put the needs of children at their heart and are committed to true collaborative working.
