www.efnabilities.comThe mission of Extended Families of Nebraska (EFN) is to provide individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives, utilizing the most natural settings possible, to achieve their maximum potential which promotes their development and success in the community. Extended Families of Nebraska (EFN) focuses its supports on extended family home, while also providing in-home services and vocational services in Lincoln. We support individuals through EFH in the Lincoln and Omaha areas, as well as smaller communities such as Laurel and Bertrand. EFN aims to provided high quality habilitative servies in natural settings, which provide the individuals we serve with the best opportunity to develop relationships and realize their full potential. EFN’s administrative team has an average of 22 years of experience in the DD field, giving them efficiency, knowledge, and grace in handling any situation that may arise. EFN believes that building, fostering, and maintaining positive healthy relationships are the basis for human growth and development. We ensure each individual served is provided with both the right and responsibility to be an active participant in the service planning process. We expect, foster, and promote an attitude of dignity and respect towards the people we serve and those in their lives.
