The main objectives of the Northern Citizen Community Board, is to create alliances between government and communities to eradicate poverty and inequality. It was viewed that community participation was key to sustainable development because of the fact that only communities can identify the local needs and this knowledge enables them to plan the initiatives appropriately. Shared responsibility may help in utilization of resources appropriately. Northern CCB with the Special Consultative Status from the United Nation Department of Economic & Social Council & under the visionary leadership of Chairman NCCB Shahzada Ibrahim the Ambassador of Civil Societies at the United Nation is working on different Projects which includes development of a housing schemes for the victims of climate change in Chitral with 130 housing units for the people, who lost homes during devastating flash floods, free of charge. including utility services, educational institutions and hospitals, with multiple employment opportunities. Our Directors & representative in Pakistan & in other countries are working & authorized to encourage & submit creative & innovative projects related to sustainable development goals by United Nations. With Special Consultative Status from Economic Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2015 NCCB is authorized with so many exclusive facilities which also include the submission of Projects on sustainable goals from across the Globe.
