ZiNIR Ltd is a technology development company specialising in translating leading photonics research into useful, flexible products for industry & academia. ZiNIR's current research and development interests lie in the design of solid state light sources and spectrometers such as Solo Spectroscopy™. Solo Spectroscopy is a totally new way of doing spectroscopy that does away with the conventional grating and detector and replaces with a single eiement that does both light separation and detection a series of high-Q microdisk resonators. ZiNIR's halogen light source division, AlphaBright, provides intense, highly efficient broadband light sources in the VIS-NIR region for spectroscopy and illumination applications. AlphaBright is specifically optimised to work with ND or bandpass filters which can be inserted without distorting the optical path.
