Our Mission: 30/30 works to make professional networking events accessible to all, regardless of one's social background. We believe that the current state of professional networking leads to missed talent and missed opportunity. For this reason, we facilitate alternative networking events, tailored to groups who would not otherwise have the opportunity to meet, but deserve an equal professional shot. Our goal is to use a professional setting to make social change. 30/30’s events create a space for connection, learning, and innovation, one that fosters a different attitude towards employment, integration and understanding the ‘other’. Our Events: Essentially, we work to make networking available to all who are talented, skilled and driven. Our events introduce local charities with leading professionals and innovators, and our team carefully matches each guest according to professional background, and experience. Our first event, held in London, in partnership with Refuaid, connected 30 refugees and 30 professionals, and provided them with the space to exchange their stories. We hosted the head of Outer Temple Chambers, international human rights lawyers, editors of Vogue and Tatler Magazines, Deloitte Partners, and the COO of Saatchi and Saatchi. Our second event, and the first of its kind in Tel Aviv, was held on March 6th, 2019, at WeWork Headquarters. In cooperation with the African Refugee Development Centre, leading professionals from Ernst & Young, Facebook, Fiverr, Guesty, WeWork and more were paired with talented African Refugees and Asylum seekers. Our team carefully matched each guest according to professional background, interest and experience. For one morning, professionals and aspiring professionals shared their experiences, advice and stories over a networking breakfast.
