MOLETTO HISTORY In the place where, more than five centuries ago, there was woodland belonging to the Venetian Republic, today there is a flourishing wine estate. A winery whose success is not only due to the fortuitous composition of its soil, but also to the foresight and unflagging determination of those who have endeavoured to tap its winemaking potential with the aid of the most modern enological technologies, but without forgetting traditional winemaking methods. Moletto Winery is named after the woodland that, until the early 16th century, dominated the area where this fertile land is now located. The estate is situated at the eastern edge of the province of Treviso, in Motta di Livenza, an area rich in the clayey and chalky soils that have characterized the centuries-old winemaking tradition in this part of Italy. SOIL MADE FOR WINE Moletto winery is today present in the holdings in Motta di Livenza and in Pramaggiore located in the districts: Prosecco DOC Treviso, Piave DOC, Lison-Pramaggiore DOC, Venezia DOC and in the production area Lison DOCG.
