Vuselela’s founders originate from the Pyro-metallurgical industry, and armed with in depth knowledge of the Ferro-Alloy sector, Vuselela Energy was conceived to capture and generate electricity from waste heat sources in this industry. Additional in-house knowledge of the “carbon credit” markets allows gearing of these projects through incentives available under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol. Vuselela Energy secured exclusive use of the Thermal Harvesting™ Technologies developed in conjunction with Environmental and Process Solutions (EPS), for which provisional patents have been obtained. Vuselela further developed strong relationships with a number of Organic Rankine Cycle Technology Suppliers, for application at selected targets in the Ferro-Alloy industry. Vuselela offers target clients a number of very flexible implementation models with preference for long-term infrastructure type investments such as BOOT and Energy Conversion models. Vuselela’s long term vision is to become the dominant supplier and operator of Thermal Harvesting™ plants worldwide.
