Carubar was founded in 2018 by two car enthusiasts who had a key sense for recognizing value. They often found themselves helping family and friends to buy new cars, particularly for those who didn’t like negotiating with car salesmen or scouring the internet for offers. But after talking to countless car salesmen, driving from one dealership to another and jumping from one website to another they both questioned if there actually was a better way to finding the best car offers. After researching the market intensely for several months and “consuming excessive amounts of banana bread”, a solution was finally found. Soon after, an exciting plan was devised to share this discovery with the rest of Australia.
