Founded in 1998, Sipol® SpA (Società Italiana Polimeri) is a chemical company focused on manufacturing high performance polymers dedicated to both the adhesive and the engineering plastics domains. Thanks to its complete range of co-polyesters and co-polyamides, the firm operates successfully in Automotive, Footwear, Packaging and other industrial sectors. Sipol develops and produces thermoplastic ether-ester elastomers (TPC-ET) and specialty hotmelt adhesives (co-polyester and co-polyamide based) in its plant located in Mortara, which is about 40 km south-west of Milan, on a 40 000 m2 site. Sipol’s business policy is based on marketing its superior competence in polymer chain modification. According to application needs, the R&D department creates new copolymers by inserting different blocks (co-monomers) into the polymer chain, producing tailor-made materials designed to match application requirements with flexibility and efficiency.
