The parents passed their love of seafood to their children and in 1998 the Schiaretti brothers, Marco and Luca, founded Ittigel, to market high quality seafood products such as squid, frozen at sea, then imported from Boston, California and South Africa. In 2001 the wholesale business was closed to make way for the Seafood Brokers. At present, Ittigel holds the exclusive representation for over 15 companies worldwide.
