We design and make musical instruments for new music, interactive exhibitions, live performances, educational programs and music productions. Initiated by composer and instrument designer Victor Gama in 2001, PangeiArt has been closely collaborating with foundations, museums, cultural centers, galleries, ensembles, composers, film directors, festivals and producers. Our services include: - developing interactive, collective musical instruments and sound art installations; - a touring exhibition of INSTRMNTS, our series of more then 30 unique musical instruments and sound installations with workshops and performances; - an educational program for children playing our musical instruments; - creating music for film, dance, opera and our own projects with a unique set of musical instruments; We have worked with: The National Museums of Scotland; Kronos Quartet; Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation; Prince Claus Fund; Chicago Symphony Orchestra; Gulbenkian Orchestra; The Royal Opera House, London; The Concertgebouw, Amsterdam; The National Centre for Craft and Design, UK; Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon; São Luiz Teatro Municipal, Lisbon; SESC São Carlos, Brazil; Teatro Colsubsidio, Bogota; and many more. We have created interactive instruments for the Performance and Lives gallery at the National Museums of Scotland: http://tinyurl.com/kb4mqru Our latest major work was the production of the multimedia opera 3thousandRIVERS commissioned by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Prince Claus Fund and premiered in Lisbon in May 2016 and in Bogota in 2017: https:www.3thousandrivers.com and a multiplayer instrument for the Clay Center for the Arts and Science in West Virginia.
