The Good Foodie is a network of forward-thinking individuals working together to identify and promote socially and environmentally responsible business practices through dialogue, research and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Funded by our Marketing and P.R. practice, N. S. Bartholomew Consulting, the Good Foodie connects consumers interested in food sustainability and security with key decision-makers in the food industry to mobilize change for a more sustainable world. The Good Foodie advances social and environmental issues by promoting better options for living more sustainable, healthy lifestyles. We do this by writing and blogging about sustainability and social responsibility issues, by highlighting and profiling the work of better actors, by facilitating business meetings, and by organizing corporate and social events to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) within the food industry and to cultivate and engage a network of green businesses and professionals – “Good Foodies”. The Good Foodie also produces and disseminates informational materials using standard media and new online media tools to promote a market shift in consumer demand toward more sustainable and healthful products and services.
