Rescue Relocation, also known as transport, is the transfer of adoptable at-risk dogs from high euthanization areas to other regions in the United States and Canada where demand for adoptable dogs is high but their local availability is low. SAVEDOG Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue organization (Tax ID 46-5556274) focused on large-scale transporting of at-risk dogs from overcrowded shelters and 'sending' partners located in Southern states, to 'receiving' rescue partners located in Northern states and Canada where they're adopted into forever homes. We charge no transport fee and are not reimbursed by any organization.
